This and That...

 Trey's taken up the habit of sucking his two first fingers on his right hand. I guess it's a genetic thing since his cousins, aunts, and even mommy did it. :)

Today Trey, Bubby, Aunt Becca and I went to the annual county fair where we met this camel. We were a little scared to stand so close but the camel trainer said it was completely safe...(I still made sure Trey was as far away as possible)

And finally, Trey is in 6 months clothes!! He's only 2 and a half months old...makes me so sad! Where's the pause button??

2 Month Appointment!

Trey had his two month appointment today, the doctor says he's in great shape! 14 pounds, 2 ounces, and 24 inches long. He had his blood drawn again for his PKU because the first one didn't go through:( But he didn't cry at all! When he got his 3 shots though his little pouty lip came out:( We noticed that he has a little pockmark looking thing on his neck so when we asked the doctor about it he told us that it was a branchial cleft anomaly. Basically Trey has a gill. I freaked out! It's just left over from when he was in the womb, the doctor said 99.99% of the time its nothing. I guess it's the Herring in him:) But if it starts secreting fluids or grows a cyst under it to let him know. Nervous Nelly mom here! :)

He was so tired after! Passed out right away:)

Trey is just starting to smile, it's so exciting!! I love it :)

Our version of the fairy tale...

I wouldn't call going through labor a fairy tale, but having my son, Dennis, (Trey) with me has definitely felt like I'm living in one. Here's a little bit of what my life has been like ever since Trey entered it.

Here I am in the hospital with my best friend Emily, only twelve hours before Trey was born. 

Kimo and I just a few minutes after Trey's birth.
